Terms of use

Terms for prozence.com and the online services used by the free Prozence WordPress plugin, including the Prozence AI service.

Scope

These terms apply between you and Prozon Kurumsal Teknoloji Çözümleri A.Ş. ("Prozon") when you use prozence.com or the online services the Prozence plugin calls (the Prozence AI service, licence checks and updates). Paid Prozence plans and cloud subscriptions are governed by their own agreement, which prevails where it differs.

The Prozence plugin

The free Prozence plugin is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. You may use, study, modify and share it under that licence. Prozence Pro is licensed separately.

Prozence AI service

  • Service. The Prozence AI service reads business cards and completes company details for sites running the Prozence plugin that do not use their own Anthropic API key.
  • Free allowance. Each site (domain) receives, from activation, 30 days with up to 30 card reads and 10 company enrichments, free of charge. Registering the same domain again does not reset the allowance. Afterwards the site administrator can add their own Anthropic API key; the plugin keeps working without AI.
  • Results. AI output may contain errors. The plugin shows the result in a form; check the fields before saving.
  • Data. How the service handles data is described in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Use the online services only through the Prozence plugin and only for business contact data your company may lawfully process. Do not try to bypass limits or security measures, register sites you do not control, send content unrelated to business cards and companies, or use the services to harm others.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the personal data you submit and for informing the people concerned, for example through your own privacy notice. The plugin can list the Prozence AI service among your data recipients on its KVKK screen.

Availability and changes

The free online services are provided "as is" and without guaranteed availability. We may limit daily usage, suspend sites that abuse the service, or change or end the free allowance programme; we announce such changes on prozence.com.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Prozon is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profit or lost data arising from the use of the free website and online services. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul Anadolu have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rules that give consumers the right to sue where they live.
